How often can I get laser treatment? The frequency of laser treatments depends on the specific laser and treatment plan created for your skins conditions and goals. Generally, Laser Genesis treatments are best done in a series of at least 6 spaced 2 weeks apart. Other laser services, such as vascular and IPL, are best done 4 weeks apart. What is "downtime"? Downtime typically is associated with time that your skin may feel or look different than usual in possibly an unsightly way. Such as, dark speckles, swelling, bruising, or dry/peeling skin. The severity and longevity of this is dependant on each service and the skin condition being treated. There are no downtime options as well, please be sure to let your aesthetician know if this is a concern for you.
What is the post-care instructions? Post-care varies dependant on the treatment performed, more detailed pre + post care instructions can be found on our pre + post care page. The specific pre + post care instructions for your treatment will be sent to your email or phone number 5 days prior to your appointment. Generally speaking you want to avoid getting your skin hot for 24-72 hours, cease use of all exfoliation for 7 days post treatment and wear SPF 50 everyday.
